• Initially sign-in with your Google Analystics Account and click on Standard Reporting dash board for your profile leaving to Analystics for profile Analystics

• In left side bar next to Social pages, click Traffic Sources to check out the traffic.

• The next page will navigate to Google Analystics which would let you know most popular page o your site. Now let to click on any of these pages to view its incoming links report.

• Now to open up with social referrals click with Google Analystics. This will provide report for that page. Now you need to switch after to Activity Stream.

• From Activity Stream you will have navigate to Events tab, and clack on “Green Trackback” icons. This icon will default contain permalink that will show the list of particular page.

• After completion of these steps. Your final step is to select anyone of the Trackback on the page.

Select View Activity to know exactly know which URL is linking to your website.

Some additional tips for Tracking Backlinks

• You can’t access TrackBacks it may take few steps to access. On first time access to TrackBacks you need to report. On next time you can add it as a widget to your Google Analystics dashboard for quick access at later on stages. So it is better to opt for widget. Also look for “Add to dash Board” at the top of the page.

• But this will not display whole backlinks. It will only report backlinks per page. If you want to see the various backlinks of your entire website you have to move on to top of the report and click all to remove the page filter.

• If have to view sites that linked up to your page the previous day go to the Date Range and change it to “Yesterday” so you can view what is on the previous day. Also you can view reports a any day by choosing custom dates.
